A full masonry passive solar home with south-facing two story solarium to heat the large thermal mass enclosed within this light-filled space. This residence is located in St. Charles, MO.
Design features
Insulated concrete slab –architectural insulated concrete block Full basement / activity area with access to lower level of solarium. Living, activity spaces look out into the solarium- some with cantilevered decks. North garage. Exterior – architectural concrete block. clad- wood windows.
